Recently I had the opportunity to return to my Healthcare Design background for this logo. My friend at Carolina Cell Therapy hired me for their rebrand, and this is where we landed. A plus with Healthcare design is that it always comes with an education, learning about cells, DNA, and exactly what Cell Therapy is.

Lessons From the Upper Room #4
Well, I’m a little late number four after the holiday weekend, and having family in town. From the sermon on John, I am the way, the truth, and the life. I thought some icon design would be great for this one.
Lessons From the Upper Room 3
Number 3 from our Pastor’s sermon was from John 13: 31-38. Today was all about the glory of Christ, and when God is glorified, Christ is glorified. My key take away was a classic point, of loving one another as Christ loved us.
Lessons From The Upper Room #2
Number two from the Lessons From the Upper was entitled Judas The Betrayer. Something that stuck out to me during the sermon, and maybe it wasn’t something that I had thought of before, was that Judas’s heart was never sincere. Despite following Christ, witnessing miracles, walking with him, his heart was never in the game.
Lessons From the Upper Room #1
Since being quarantined, I started sketching the sermon notes, instead of only writing things down. I decided to make it a little personal project as well. This was first one I did from our pastor’s series Called Lesson’s From the Upper Room, John 13: 1-7. A key point from our Pastor was that God loves […]

Logo and Graphics for the Path Project, End of 2019 Campaign.
Near the end of 2019, The Path Project, pathproject.org, reached out to me to design their end of year campaign. It started with their campaign theme and logo design, The Power of Showing Up, which focused on the impact of great volunteers. From there we explored web graphics and social media. I’ve worked with the […]
Throwback Thursday Video Templates for Instagram
So, a few months ago I was assigned a really fun project at work, which was to design video templates for Throwback Thursday. With so much great vintage content of Charles Stanley it was time to do something great with it, so I dove in head first. It also gave me a chance to get […]
Focus, Passion, and Signet Rings. 2019 Youth Conference Brochure.
Some new client work here! A few weeks ago a youth pastor in Washington D.C. commissioned me to design their youth conference brochure. The theme of the conference was from Haggai 2:23, which reads: ‘On that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will […]
No News. No Radio. No Lights.
When Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, In Touch Ministries acted. After discovering that people had gone six months without light, or power, we raised $20,000 in order to send messengers to Puerto Rico. These devices not only helped bring the gospel to Puerto Rico, the brought light to homes helped communities begin rebuilding. This direct […]
Can’t have Godly Character without a dove in there somewhere.
A new series from Dr. Charles Stanley is available at https://store.intouch.org, and it was a lot fun to design. My challenge was depicting the nine fruits of the spirit without favoring one or the other, which is why I went for something a little abstract, and let the dove do the work. It was a fun […]
Rethinking a classic: Designing a sermon series for the Prodigal Son
Some projects are easier than others. They lend themselves to great design. But designing sermon art for Dr. Stanley’s new series on the Prodigal Son was a challenge. I spent a lot of time thinking of new visual directions—a fresher direction, other than a road, and staged photography. Do I bring in the pig pen […]

Christmas in November!
Well it’s safe to say that I’ve gotten used to designing things months before the season arrives. In September I designed Christmas Card—yes I listened to a Christmas Carol or two for inspiration, but no egg nog—anyway we just got the cards back from printer and here they are! There’s something about metallic inks, foil […]
Unshakable Faith Insert
Dr. Stanley did a sermon series on what it’s like to have “Unshakable Faith,” and I was tasked with designing the CD inserts. My idea was around the thought that Unshakable Faith is really like a fortress protecting us from temptation. You can see it in this post or you can check it out here: https://store.intouch.org/p-2576-unshakable-faith-in-uncertain-times.aspx
